Spring News

How did it get to mid-April already? If you are like us the diary is running away and it would be great to press the pause button and take a look at what is happening right now. As a small business it is always good to have that opportunity and we endeavor to do this at our monthly team meetings. We sit down together and review the work that has been achieved with each of our customers, we discuss how the work has been undertaken, evaluate the issues that arose and look forward to new and ongoing projects that are upcoming and take time to plan.

This meeting requires each member of the team to stop and think. The directors use this opportunity to consider the business as a whole and members of the individuals in the team and their work load. There is an opportunity to discuss the levels of stress within the team, this year we have looked into mhfaengland.org and adopted the positive wellbeing strategies that they promote. There are various posters around the staff area and have been recently advised by a visitor to the office that it was a far more positive message than discussing suicide, which some companies promote as a positive method. We are aware that 1 in 6 British workers will experience depression, anxiety or stress-related issues. At Nevalee Business Solutions we want all the team to be able to recognise stress within themselves and others and feel comfortable to talk about it.

The team supported Red Nose Day in March by wearing noses and purchasing cakes made by a company director. £32 in total was sent to the charity.

February 2019 saw the launch of RedAtlas Flying School Administration, this was built specifically for a local airfield. We are looking forward to sharing this application to other airfields that have flying schools later in the year along with promoting our RedAtlas Airfield Management system.

The RedAtlas Airfield Management system is being prepared for an airfield in Manchester to migrate in April. The team will have successfully migrated three airfields within the first quarter of the year.
